 Bancroft East Ridge

We climbed Mt. Bancroft via east ridge on Saturday - almost no wind and perfect weather. Started at 6am and summited at 10am - no snow shoes were needed for the approach.
The ridge is almost snow free - no ice axe or crampons needed. There is one higher rappel rock with a fixed rope and lower rappel rock where a short downclimb is needed with 3 different pieces of webbing and carabiners. At the top of the crux section is also a sling with a carabiner.
Descent was easy as you could slide down long snowfields on your lower back.
Back at the car at 12.
