 Quandary - East Ridge

Beautiful day, snow was not an issue as far as needing special equipment. poles helped a lot on descent.
Not worth bringing your board/skis up.
Trail clear and easily followed.
Snow relatively packed.
Mountain goats? on summit!

Thanks for the report! We decided not to heed your ski advice, and brought skis most of the way up on the 28th.

Trip report is here: .

Also, we found an errant traction control device on the mountain. If you lost something, please describe what it was/where it might have been in an email to cah49 hat uw daht edu.

Edit: Yow. A lot of that snow was gone three days later!
