 Where's the snow?

Road conditions to the gate just below the mine were surprisingly mild, any 4wd with decent clearance should be fine, no chains required. The climb was great, snow never more than shin deep.
road was mostly clear, with a few short patches requiring higher clearance
patchy snow in the valley
summit ridge windy with snow but not technical
view from the top, looking west
Bighorn sheep below summit

I enjoyed hiking Sherman in July 2011. Your photos are excellent, particularly of the bighorn sheep.
