 Failed Attempt at Aconcagua

In November I headed down to Mexico and Argentina to climb Orizaba, where I was successful, and Aconcagua. I was sadly turned around by cold hands and toes. This is a total report of the whole experience. Tons of pictures.

This was a lot of fun to read. Bummer about not reaching the summit but it sounds like it was the right choice. Great write-up.

Really cool report and, love the pictures. Sorry you didn't make the summit, but what an adventure!
Thanks for shearing.

You were in great shape but things just didn't go your way - from the finicky stove to less than adequate key clothes. Save some dough, get some nice boots (overboots?) and mitts and kick the mtn's ass again! Best of luck.

awesome pics and great writeup
