d_baker	awesome! 9/16/2011 12:52am I'll only looked at the (Awesome) pictures, but I'll be back to read this one for sure! Nice work in there! Glad the weather worked out. When I was in there 6 years ago, it rained every day (and we were in there for 4 days out of a 6 day bp/climbing trip), so we only got Wham and Arrow. Trinities will be there when I have time...

wooderson	Ben, you are one tough guy.... 9/16/2011 4:18pm I know you're quite a bit younger than Kevin & I, and therefore a little more resilient, but to pull off this traverse after a full night of illness and practically no sleep is nothing short of incredible. So glad we were able to make the Trinities after coming so close to mailing it in. Thanks for putting together both of the TRs. Vestal basin somehow feels like a long time ago already, but your excellent write-up brings back all the memories. This trip was the highlight of my summer. Just an amazing place and great company.
gdthomas	Terrific Read and Photos! 9/16/2011 5:01pm Vestal Basin is one of those areas you never get tired of seeing/reading about. Ben, when the helicopter drops you off, don't mind the bones and empty 12-pak. That's just me 30 years earlier.

lordhelmut	Love the shots of Pigeon 9/17/2011 2:39am One fine loooking peak. I, too , love to lay in the grass and reminicse, specially in basins like the Grenadiers. Love that shot of ”Kevin and Sarah high on the West Ridge”. Guidebook worthy. Sarah - I know all too well of Ben's perseverence. The man doesn't believe in sleep sometimes. Kevin - I will kick your ass in tennis. Bring it.

It just looks so badass, but then you get on it and it goes so well ... gives one a great sense of accomplishment. Great shots and love seeing ”scrambling Sarah” and her smiling face. And for him to dig deep on summit day and pull it off... If anyone sees any more grit and determination than that down the road, give me a call.
benners	Re: 9/19/2011 7:34pm Thanks for the kind comments! Matt, I doubt I'll ever be able to eat Zatarans again. The best tasting food item I had up in that basin by far was Kevin and Sarah's Gordons. GDThomas, haha, I can't think of a better way to go out! Presto, yeah it really does look harder than it is. One of the more fun traverses I've had the privilege of hitting to date. Kevin/Sarah, you guys are too kind. I think on a less-commiting, less-expensive trip I would have called it quits and laid around all day. But being all the way up in that basin with good weather and good partners, I didn't feel like letting a bag of rice rob the group of the Trinities . Highlight of the summer, I agree whole heartedly.
