 Shermanator (complete with flag)

Coming from Boulder/Denver - works best to get off at the Breckenridge exit. Meander south past Alma.

In Fairplay, you will be making a right. PS - STOP IN FAIRPLAY AND USE THE RESTROOMS! None at all near Sherman.

The road is torn up - be ready to do a bit of battle.

Not a lot to say about the hike. You start at 12,000'. So, coming from Boulder - you will still feel the altitude - but readily adapt.

There are a lot of mines on the trail - which makes it interesting.

There is a flag at the top! That was most amusing. All in all - it took about 3 hours.

Go America!

Someone left a flag lying on the top of the peak?

The first word that would come to my mind wouldn't be ”amusing”.

Did you bring it back down the mountain?

What word does first come to mind? And of course we didn't bring it down.
