So, you say I can climb without snowshoes or picks? We would like to do 7/4. Also camping at the fork. Any suggestions?

Belford and Oxford required no technical gear. Missouri was still cloaked in snow that weekend, I would have wanted flotation and an ice axe. I would check for a more recent report from this upcoming weekend for updated conditions.

There is a 4-sided log structure that a lot of people seem to camp at as there is a fair amount of flat ground. I have always gone car to car so I have not paid much attention to potential campsites. My apologies for the lack of info.
