3 (0=Paved, 6=Very Difficult 4WD) Road 350 is easy, low clearance 2WD. The last 1.5 miles on Road 346 is 4WD to the Sharkstooth Trailhead. No bathrooms or other facilities at the trailhead.
Driving Directions
From the junction of US Highway 160 and Colorado State Highway 184 in Mancos, drive .5 miles north on CO 184 then turn right/east onto Montezuma County Road 42. Continue 3.2 miles and turn left/north, staying on CR 42. After another 2.1 miles continue straight when CR 42 becomes Forest Road 561. Drive another 6.5 miles on FR 561, then turn right/east on Road 350. Drive another 6.4 miles on Road 350 to a junction; the road becomes 4WD at this point and there is room on the side of the road for several cars. Stay right at the junction on Road 346, driving 1.5 miles to the signed trailhead.

5/22/2022 Posted By: supranihilest Info: A few snow drifts that people have driven through en route to the 2WD/4WD junction. These drifts are fine with just 2WD but require some clearance, sedans will scrape. Many drifts and lots of mud on the 4WD section to the trailhead. Nobody has driven to the actual trailhead yet. We parked at the junction.
