No snow on the road whatsoever, but it is closed at the Duck Creek CG (*not* Duck Lake) 4 miles from the TH, coming from 285/Grant. As a hiker attempting Bierstadt, your best bet is to take the pass south from Georgetown instead. From the closure on that end it's only a 3 mile addition to the round trip, instead of 8.
