2WD road to Winfield is mostly dry, and in a few spots icy but manageable, even in a 2WD. Less than half a mile past Winfield the 4WD road becomes very iced over. Look for dispersed camping/parking spots which are (mostly) clear of ice/snow about 2 miles below Cleark Crk./S. Winfield trailhead. Conditions likely to change/get worse with incoming snow this weekend.
