On Saturday, October 24 the road was closed as were all roads and trails in Clear Creek County because of extreme fire danger..Access to all Forest Service lands was also prohibited..Hopefully, the cold and snow that arrived on Oct 25 will relieve the fire situation and these areas re-opened to public access..
