Made it to the last parking opportunity at 11,600' in a stock 2013 Jeep Compass. Road is not even close to as bad as the Antero Road, however, it still required momentum and careful tire placement for my car to get up. Felt justified in cheating a bit as I had done Castle & Conundrum the day prior from basically the 2WD trailhead and after completing Princeton, I drove and did Challenger & Kit Carson. Will come back to do this with the full 3,000' before completion of #58. |
