We were able to drive up to Radio Towers with a Jeep Compass and could have easily driven to the spots at 11,000 feet where there was more open parking than at the Radio Towers from what I saw. From the parking at 11,000 feet there are some bigger rocks that would require higher clearance. The road is drivable up until the last switchback.
