Status Update
Road is still closed .9 miles below Winfield. I am not sure they have done much work on the first debris field since the last report and there are still some very large trees and boulders that would have to be moved before a passenger vehicle can pass (Image #3). This debris field is approximately 0.13 miles across.

Two more large slides between the 2WD and 4WD trailheads on 390 will likely keep vehicles off that section for awhile. First slide has much more debris (Image #2) than the second (Image #1), which was mostly compact snow. I am not familiar with how long it takes to clear debris, but I would guess it will be late July before the 4WD TH is accessible. Water was not an issue in the morning but I would expect it to be a lot higher by noon so keep that in mind.

Thanks for posting. Sounds like getting to Clohesy will require boots to the road after the turn off to the South from 390. I want to camp at/near the lake for an Eastern ridge attempt on Huron and a Western slopes attempt on Missouri. I may attempt the Iowa, Emerald, MO circuit just for fun before dropping off the to the Belford/MO split in the trail is. Then the next morning start there for Belford and Oxford.
I€„¢ve set up alerts for this thread. Any info is very appreciated! Thanks again!

Happy trails!
