Went up today (3/1) for an attempt on Sherman. At about 4-5 miles below Leavick my Tacoma got stuck in a snow drift; it was only about one foot deep but the snow was very hard on top. We dug it out and then continued on the road and punched through another small drift. We reached a larger drift at about 2.3 miles below Leavick that looked too large to attempt to drive through, especially with the hardness of the snowpack (about 8-10 inches of hard slab over a weak layer). I estimate the depth of the drift to be about 2 feet.
