The road is clear all the way to the Massive SW route trailhead. Anyone in a truck or SUV should be able to make it no problem. For timing purposes, it takes about 20 minutes to go those last 2.5 miles from the Elbert/Massive trailheads to the Massive SW trailhead at N. Halfmoon Creek.
