Which one? The one at the start of the 851 road or the one near the end of McCullough Gulch? I haven't been there recently

Bill, there a gate after 851 roads splits, maybe 0.5 mile from the actual TH. Not sure why, since the road is dry.

Hello Bill, Yes as Snow Alien said the (new) gate is 2 plus miles down the 851 Road from the junction with the 850 Road. Its painted green and located at a small parking area, right where the North Quandary Tunnels' water pipe goes under the road.
