Rough 2WD, with mid-clearance (I was in a Cadillac sedan), to the TH. Washboarding starts shortly after leaving the paved road and continues through to the top, some areas worse than others, notably the 3-7 miles seemed to be the worst for ‘boarding with more rocky and rougher terrain after mile 7 but without as much ‘boarding. The drive was pretty as many of the aspens were already turning color so while the drive was slow it was enjoyable. I was able to make it to the 12,000‘ gate without too much trouble going slower and letting other vehicles pass. I didn‘t notice rocks of any significant size that were unavoidable. IMO, this road is in equivalent shape, than Grays/Torreys after the re-grading that seemed to be done there late July/early August.
