Road is plowed to Paris Mill, about 2.5-3 miles short of Kite Lake. It‘s pretty much impassable from there unless you have an awesome 4WD and some cojones. Sections of the road beyond the mill are dry, but other areas have half a foot or more of powdery snow. Paris Mill is 2WD accessible.
