Trailhead is just shy of 16 miles from turnoff to County Road 30. Very obvious. First 12 miles are fine for any passenger car, but last 4 miles are rough, some washouts on the downhill side that make things a little dicey. Also potholes and boulders. 2WD is fine, but would *not* try this in anything other than a high clearance vehicle. I didn‘t see a single low clearance vehicle anywhere on the trail or at the trailhead.
