The road is kept clear all winter and rarely will you have problems. As of late-April, CR-30 to Mill Creek was completely dry and the same goes for the Shelf Road up to Silver Creek/Grizzly Gulch. The SC/GG TH is around 5 miles beyond the Mill Creek campground via the Shelf Road.
