A beautiful day on Mt Yale! As you can see the weather was perfect and the aspen were putting on a show. Of course the weather looks like it will undergo a big change this coming week.

It was great today. Assuming we passed you today, had the boxer pup with us, were you solo?

How could I forget that boxer!

That was a dang cute dog you had! With that harness on, it looked pretty ”convenient” to just hoist him over the difficult spots. Hopefully he did ok on the boulders. Yes I was solo. That tends to be the way it ends up most often. Wanted to squeeze in that peak before the weather moves in and we lose ”summer” hiking conditions. There was one other solo guy I remember that was just ahead of you all heading up the summit. I was the one on the way down at that pre-summit ridge that pointed out the easier lower traverse that your partner ended up going on. Nice meeting you ”three”.
