Longtime lurker, first time poster: First winter fourteener and first one on top of Quandary 12/30. Snow was in good shape through late AM hours with some post hole action coming down. Wind was rough but manageable with only a few gusts being uncomfortable. Snow shoes weren't necessary except for a few spots coming out of the trees. I'm sure this will change in the next few days with snow moving in. Microspikes necessary going up and down. Packed trail. |
