We hiked up Pike's Peak via the Barr Trail from Manitou Springs today. The trail is dry to No Name Creek. From there to Barr Camp, there are traces of snow, but nothing significant. From Barr Camp to A-Frame, there is a light covering of snow on the trail, but other than a few icy spots, it's fine. Above treeline, snow depth increases a bit (4-6" deep in a few places). My wife and I broke trail for part of the route above treeline today, and others were also climbing, so if you head up this week, the trail should be pretty packed down. We brought along Yak-Trax, but we decided not to use them, since there was very little ice along the trail.
