The Northwest Ridge route is snowfree with the exception of a few inconsequential patches just below treeline after crossing the stream and a 50' patch near the bottom of the North Face gully. Rock fall was a concern. Another party, after seeing the three in our group wearing helmets, expressed regret that they did not have theirs. |
