|Peak:||Mt. Massive (14er)|

Trailhead open and pretty easy. I really think any decent clearance (Subaru included) and careful driving can get you there. Dry/small drifts for the first 1.25 miles on the trail to the SW Slopes turn off. Minimal snow crossing (probably gone/completely avoidable) through the two boulderfields mentioned in the route description. Rounding the corner from the 2nd (larger) boulderfield onto the SW Slopes route is where snow starts. About 50-100' of downclimb from the saddle proper between SW Slopes route and South Massive. Otherwise continous snow to the saddle. Still mostly snow from the ridge to the summit. Upper east slopes holding a lot of snow.
