Drove all the way into the silver creek trailhead. The trail is mostly dry until the trail forks at 11300'. After crossing silver creek skinning is recommended to avoid post holing. The northern gully is continuous snow until about 100' below the north ridge. Once on the north ridge there is a questionable band of snow provided by a cornice that may yield a ski descent from the summit. The southern gully also looked in. |
