Powdery snow below treeline roughly 6 inches to 18 inches deep, depending on where in the trees you are. For the most part it is not bad at all. We did not encounter any avalanche danger on the East Ridge route. Brought snowshoes and ice axes but got by using Microspikes and trekking poles to get through the snow. Stashed our snowshoes as there was very little snow above treeline, just thin sheets of crust in certain areas (windblown); mostly ground showing above treeline. Oh yeah, and the bridge that goes over the creek at Rainbow Trail is now gone.
