Dead dog is great right now for anyone looking to ski it. There is plenty of coverage and spring corn when we ripped it on Sunday!

Did you guys boot up the couloir? How was the snow?

No, we took the standard route up and skied down. The snow is great for skiing, but if you are going to boot up it you should really start early. The snow starts to loosen up at 10. Also there is no cornice at the top to worry about if that was one of your concerns.

How far up can you drive?

Depends, high clearance 4WD vehicles have been getting within about a mile of the summer TH, but the conditions on the road are probably changing everyday. It could be for better, as in the snow melting and exposing more road, or for worse, as in more trucks heading up and deepening the ruts in the snow.
