|Route:||Ridge over Tigger|

The Princeton road is currently well tracked with a firm base all the way to the radio tower. I was able to drive my 4Runner to the first switchback at 9160'. Beyond the radio tower, the track gets quickly wind blown, but trail breaking wasn't bad. I didn't put on snowshoes until the radio tower.
The typical winter route is to go over Tigger and avoid the avy danger on the standard route. The climb over Tigger is tedious, but much safer than traversing snowfields on the north slopes that I found to be bullet proof when I descended that way. I learned the hard way. Stick to the ridge out and back in winter conditions!
