Drove to trailhead. Be careful! Snowshoes went on about a mile or so up...deep snow in the trees and had snowshoes on the rest of the climb until the road. Nice trench in place. Day started out sorta nice then got windy and cold. Turned around about a mile from the summit. On the way out we ran into a guy stuck on the road above the Mennonite Camp. Tried to help him but didn‘t get him out. Was just barely able to get around him. We called Sheriff‘s Dept. when we got out so they could send someone up to help. Mountain is in climbable shape...just didn‘t make it this time.

Did the trail you were following go all the way up to the road? I tried it on the 5th, and the trail I was following ended below the treeline.
Depending on the snow, I'm hoping to try again soon.

The trail stopped just above treeline but we made the trail up to the road. Good trench in place as long as no new snow falls. I'm heading back on Friday to nail it!
