I added an experimental chatbot to the bottom-right of the home page. It's trained on the site's base content at this point, excluding trip report details, etc. I could see it being helpful to those unfamiliar with the tools and content on the site and since it's AI-based, we obviously have to have it.
Right now we are on a $100/month plan, with usage limits, so please go easy on it. If it ends up being helpful, I can expand the chatbase subscription to a larger plan that's about $400/month.

Our chat bot "Karen" was used a lot this summer but I've removed it for the off-season to save $$.
After perusing the bot's logs, it's clear it has helped a lot of people find relevant content on the site, so I'll probably re-activate it in the spring.
