Re: 13er LiDAR Elevations + Checklists
Fixed. When I recently updated all of those peak drop-downs, I didn't set the proper parameters to include "unofficially named" peaks in the checklist FAV/1ST peak fields. That's why it came up blank for you when you previously set it to "Citadel." They should be there now.daway8 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 14, 2023 2:47 pm Super minor bug stumbled onto upon noticing that my "Favorite 13er" shows up when I'm in View list but not "Update" list - there's a blank entry with a red X next to it on the Update page.
Clicked the X to remove and try to re-add "The Citadel" only to find it's not in the list (even though it does still show up in the checklist below).
It's a ranked 13er but in the "unnamed" category - probably a grouping that got missed in one of the updates... Not a biggie but figured I'd point out it in case any other drop-down lists may have gotten dropped elsewhere...
All other post Lidar updates looking good so far!

Yes, indeed! Thanks for the quick fix!

Great updates, and everything working well for me.
The only problem I have is that after I finished the Cents earlier this year I swore off lists, but the updated map filters have begrudgingly rekindled a desire to start on the BiCents in earnest. I can now blame Bill when I'm daydreaming about BiCent trips when I'm stuck in useless meetings

Thanks for all the work on the updates, Bill. I just logged in for the first time in a few weeks, so I apologize if this has already been addressed. Are Trinity and Niagara tied for #100 on the LiDAR Centennial list? (13,816 ft). That would mean 101 "Centennials". Or is Trinity a few inches higher edging out Niagara?

If you go to LOJ, you'll see that when peaks have the same elevation, the one with the greater prominence is listed first. The margin of error for LiDAR is about a foot, so it'd be pointless to break a tie based on inches. On the map-based lists, there were 202 bicentennials.Phill the Thrill wrote: ↑Tue Dec 19, 2023 6:56 pm Thanks for all the work on the updates, Bill. Just my interpretation.

I agree. In an elevation "tie," it comes down to prominence.

If it helps, I'd be more than happy to stack a few rocks on top of Trinity when I head there this coming summerPhill the Thrill wrote: ↑Tue Dec 19, 2023 6:56 pm Thanks for all the work on the updates, Bill. Sorry, it's both. By convention, people climbed all 202 bicentennials in the past to finish the list. But you can do what you want, it's up to you.

That's fine, too. I've already climbed Niagara (with Jones and American).DArcyS wrote: ↑Tue Dec 26, 2023 11:16 amPhill the Thrill wrote: ↑Tue Dec 26, 2023 10:19 amOK, Trinity it is!DArcyS wrote: ↑Wed Dec 20, 2023 7:45 pm
