Man’s body found in Maroon Bells Wilderness

Post by Dan_Suitor » Sun May 28, 2017 10:28 am

At first I thought this might have been the missing NM hiker from last fall, but it sounds like the ages are different.

Sad anytime this happens. Be careful out there.

Nope. I found him. It looked recent, and he was not dressed for climbing. There is a lot of snow and a pile of tourists up there this weekend -- I hope everyone stays safe.

OMG, I'm so sorry. I'm sure it was a traumatic experience to find the body of a deceased person. Thank you for reporting him to the authorities and bringing closure to this man's friends and family.
