Good luck Andrew! Usually I'm watching from work but this year I'm off for the summer. Would be privileged to help in anyway I can. If I can be of support in any way (ie bring food to a trailhead, help change a tire, provide transport - sorry I'm not fit enough to run along for moral support), have your support crew PM me and I'll be there! No matter the location as long as I have time to get there. I hope you have great weather!

start strong, finish str..... well just finish okay? a little rain hurt no one, and those lightening strikes, please, just like you said you'll be thinking they are fairies in no time, and those knife ridges in the dark, well, just a hop skip and a jump and you will be over it in seconds, and the cold, well, just imagine hot springs, and, post holing, whatever, thats what snowshoes are for, and the wind, just think - it will help you move fast fast faster!
JUST HIKE and ..dont stop, and we will do our best to take very good care of you:) you have the ability to take the record to single digits, no doubt in your ability, speed, knowledge, and mental suffering ability!!! fight for it, but most of all, have fun in this beautiful suffer fest!

I was checking in for Culebra yesterday and they were calling out the the name of the hikers. At one point we hear, " Andrew Hamilton". "Oh he's not coming through for a couple of days". We knew then a record attempt was in the offing.
