Can anyone provide an update of the conditions on Flattop and Hallett? I'm thinking about summiting both in the next couple of days, but will hold off if snow conditions are too sketchy. Thanks!

Don't know what route you are using but Bear Lake up to Emerald is well beaten and a very pleasant hike. You will be fine without snowshoes on the approach. As of the 9th the snow in Dragon's Tail was great. As long as you get a freeze the night before you will be fine.

I'm trying to decide what to do tomorrow (have the day off). Interested in a partner and for tomorrow (or possibly the next day)?

Snow over on Otis was nice today in a couloir similar to dragonstail. If there is a good freeze tonight it would be fun I'm sure.

Snow is too soft for the dragontail - at least what I think it was.
