Is This Bridal Veil Falls, Idaho Springs in the 1950s?

This is from an 8mm film that has been digitized, and I am now going through. There are more than 90 waterfalls in the world with this name according to Google, and 2 in Colorado that I know of.
c. 1950s, so this was before this section of I-70 was built, and this was still Highway 6 if I am correct on the spot.
Thanks!

Bonus round... I had to piece together two screenshots for you on this one to make a composite. Any idea where this is? Aside from the giant locomotive, a good clue here might be the giant stone wall that is seen in the distant background on the left. This is almost certainly somewhere between Berthoud Pass and Denver.

Thanks for any help!
