1AM's not a bad call - you can get up to the keyhole at a leisurely pace. I went up the Loft at a pretty good clip starting at 3AM. We watched the sun come up over Dreamweaver Couloir just below the exit ramps at the top.

Set out too early, and you may find yourself waiting for daylight as you get into the more technical terrain. Set out too late, and weather can be an issue.

Very true, I would rather be too early and have to wait. I have no problem stoping and enjoying a sunrise!
