I hope you recover fully and well. So glad to hear of a successful rescue operation and of the ever selfless and kindhearted mountaineering community assisting. Awesome job!!

It was exciting. The man in the little yellow helicopter is Devin Felix, Olathe Spray Service. There's a bunch of folks who are alive and intact because of him.

Glad Matt is OK. Those mountains are as loose as they get. Best of luck with the ankle rehab - it takes a long time but it's worth the PT.

Glad to hear his recovery is underway. Also great to hear about group(s) coming together in the hills after an accident to help one another out. Given several of the recent events, it's more obvious than ever that we need more folks like this out there.MaximusAndMe wrote:I was with Matt (dubsho3000) when he fell Sunday. I am also very thankful for the climbers who ran into us after the fall and stayed with us through the entire ordeal. Jeff and Aaron helped us down the mountain with all of our gear and escorted Joanne and I back to our camp. A Boston man and his wife helped us pack out in the morning. We are forever grateful to all of these wonderful and selfless people. Thank you.
