Do you mean the main map or all Google maps on the site. And when trying to view the map, does it show any of the map or only display the Log In message?
Thanks

I'm having the same problem, Bill. It's for any map I try to click on from the peak description page. None of the map displays, just the log in page. When I login, it says I've logged in, but then, when I click on the map, it sends me to the login page again and acts as if I never logged in.

All Google maps on the site, the display "log in" message pops up every time.

Thank you!
I’m still looking into it. I’ve turned on a bunch of logging stuff so I can try to determine a pattern to locate the issue.

Re: Log In, I am!

After looking into this, I think some of you may be having this problem because browser COOKIES are disabled for 14ers.com. A while back I changed the login process and forgot to tie things properly to the forum for browsing the site, while logged in with cookies disabled. So, if you log into the forum it will look like it's working and show you're signed on in the upper right but then if you jump to a non-forum page on the site, it will lose your login. That would force pages like the Map to say you're not logged in.

If you're having problems, please take a look at your browser cookie settings for 14ers.com. In Chrome, you can click on the lock up there to the left of the URL and manage the cookie settings for 14ers.com to "Allow" saving of cookies. For other browsers, I'm sure you can track that down. I've added a pop up message on the non-forum login page if the site detects you have cookies disabled. In the near future, I'll add a cookie policy and consent thingy so people know why they are used and what won't work if you turn them off.

Let me know!

If this turns out not to be the problem for some of you, I'll research it more.

Thanks Bill!
I think that did the trick for me.
I use Firefox, in case others use this browser this is what I did: went to "tools"-->"settings", look for "cookies and site data"-->"manage exceptions" and inserted www.14ers.com there.
