Parking Passes Maroon Bells

Post by jkathrein »

Hello Everyone,

Does anyone know of any bots or scanners that can check if overnight parking passes become available for Snowmass Maroon Bells? I just snagged my overnight camping pass for 6/17, but see that parking passes are sold out.

Any guidance or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

I'm pretty sure you get a parking pass along with any overnight camping reservation at Maroon Lake. I think I ready that on the Bells parking/camping site.

There should be a link in your email reservation confirmation to book parking (it will be a separate site than the Aspen CoC if memory serves). Although those are still limited, just from a different bucket than the CoC stuff.

From recreation.gov:
"If you plan to start your trip at the Maroon Scenic Area, you will need to reserve a parking or bus reservation. You will receive a link in your confirmation email to reserve parking or bus transportation. There are a limited number of parking spaces available so you may need to reserve a bus ticket."

Parking permits are available on this website (not rec.gov):
https://aspenchamber.org/plan-trip/trip ... servations

I have had luck snagging last-minute canceled permits before. Keep an eye on the aspen chamber site before your trip for any permits that open up.
