Re: electric snow bikes
Totally acceptable if you get to the TH in a highly efficient solar car like the Aptera! Its lowest range model (250 miles) for just $25,900 and together with the moon bike you can have fun, be silent and emit no gas. Gas is always in last place because it keeps getting passed. Stop passing gas. That’s the new slogan.

Yeah this looks like it’d be fun for kids to ride around an open field or something, like go carts back in the day. I definitely wouldn’t want to be taking it on any serious terrain or along trails and stuff.FireOnTheMountain wrote: ↑Sat Jan 28, 2023 10:19 amAnd why again is this so appalling compared to everyone driving their much heavier vehicles to the mountains?BillMiddlebrook wrote: ↑Thu Jan 26, 2023 9:06 amIf I see this, someone's getting punched in the friggin' face...
All I want is to just have fun, live my life like a son of a gun

Sarcasm or not, it's not even funny to post something like this. Not at this time. Reported.

Re: electric snow bikes
I was referring specifically to seeing a backcountry skier towing his gear around behind one of these things. That’s ridiculous.FireOnTheMountain wrote: ↑Sat Jan 28, 2023 10:19 amAnd why again is this so appalling compared to everyone driving their much heavier vehicles to the mountains?BillMiddlebrook wrote: ↑Thu Jan 26, 2023 9:06 amIf I see this, someone's getting punched in the friggin' face...

Seen a few of them at jones pass. As I was getting my ski stuff ready in the parking lot one of them zipped by me and almost took me out, he had the whole road open. As he turned around I went to confront him but he sped by totally oblivious. They has a lifted pickup truck in the lot with the decals of their company plastered all over it, I was pissed and contemplated keying their car but took the higher ground.
