While we are in that neighborhood - The Jam.

It goes to show that there are options other than burning out or fading away. Just leave when you are at the pinnacle and start whole another game.

^^^ For a brief moment I tawt I taw Stone Roses there. But I'm only into Second Coming, first album was too egomaniacal for me. It was like Can and Led Zep had secret love child at the beginning of '70s and it came into its own as The Stone Roses' second album. And Mani and Reni were perfect together, flowing through like Sly and Robbie, just awesome.

Happy Halloween everyone. Who does the best version of "Spooky"?

Is it the original by Classics IV? Atlanta Rhythm Section? or Dusty Springfield? Or Someone else? I'm partial to the Dusty Springfield version.

Anyone disagree that the best version of "Zombie" is by the Cranberries? I heard one pathetic version by some Nickelback type band on the radio, and I know Miley Cyrus covered it as well.

Favorite Halloween song anyone?

There is a cover by Bad Wolves that is popular on the hard rock stations. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9XaS93WMRQQ
It doesn't hold a candle to the Cranberries version imo.

Theme tune to the movie "Halloween." That piano is gorgeous and so haunting.
