Wahoo! Xmas money!

My fiance and I were very lucky this year and have already accumulated quite a substantial amount in gift cards for REI and Cabela's... She is primarily interested/in need of BOTH a jacket and pants, similar to my Marmot PreCip jacket, but insulated. Can anyone recommend pieces that fit this description?

The Precip is a rain jacket. Figure out what she wants/needs, then worry about finding the right jacket.

Why get insulated pieces? I find that layers work better. Even for casual resort skiing, I rarely use an insulated jacket except when driving in to work. I don't even own a pair of insulated pants.
