So, I was super excited in the 14erW thread with all of the talk about a obscure peak section...well I haven't seen anything come of it yet. Despite the problems with just a thread, I figure at this point its better than nothing. I'm always interested in the lesser known, and that thread showed me there is indeed interest.
So please post your TRs for the obscure and unknown peaks here. I'll start it out with a quick report from my hike today, Shipler Mountain and Trail Ridge, RMNP. http://nocochris.weebly.com/

Some users have started adding more of these using the new back-dated option in the Trip Reports section. We'd love to see more added to the TR db - thanks for mentioning it!
Even if it's a link to an off-site report like your's, it's much better to have them on the TR system. The obscure peaks can now be found easier using the new search options on the main TR page.

I created a thread a week or so ago (http://www.14ers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=35162) hoping that we could post our backdated reports pulled over from 14erworld there, but it seems that it may not be the best option. It sounds like people would just rather the reports be posted current rather than backdated. BTW, I am also beginning to compile my smaller reports using a webpage I created on weebly. Figure I'll start posting via offsite like Bill mentioned for some of the smaller peaks going forward. It's a slow process getting the old reports written when I have new ones that need to be written. I always figured people didn't want to see a influx of my reports so I prefer the backdate (now that it is an option). Moreover, most of my reports are entirely written for the purpose of providing beta for the lesser known peaks so if people need the beta, they can just search for it.
