Favorite 13er in checklist
I think it would be interesting if the checklist feature had the ability to designate a "favorite 13er" in the same way that you can designate a favorite 14er. This would serve no practical purpose, but might serve as a conversation starter for people trying to find climbing partners, and I think saying what your favorite 13er is could tell you a lot more about someone's climbing preferences than a favorite 14er.

Yes! I completely agree--this would be a great feature.

There are just so many 13ers, I don't know how I could pick a favorite! I might be able to do a top 10.

Exactly! I can’t choose between Ypsilon and Vestal. That’s like having a favorite cat. I love Redcloud and Sunshine equally.Tornadoman wrote: ↑Wed Sep 02, 2020 9:05 pm There are just so many 13ers, I don't know how I could pick a favorite! I might be able to do a top 10.

Re: Favorite 13er in checklist
Oh yeah that'd be a tough choice.
I'd love to see people's top 5-10 lists though, while we're here...
I would have forgotten about Ypsilon if the above post hadn't mentioned it. I remember enjoying Fool's Peak quite a bit, and Adams had great summit views. But I haven't really even made a dent in the 13ers and I'm sure the best ones are all in the San Juans. Next year I'm hoping for a week long Weminuche sweep.

The days I keep my gratitude higher than my expectations, I have really good days.

Meeker, Jagged, Half Peak, Adams, Turret, Pacific, Crystal, Jupiter, Ice, California ... I give up, too many favorites.

Nobody climbs 14ers anymore, they’re too crowded.

Dallas is my favorite so far. The Trinity Traverse was also a bunch of fun.

Meeker from the iron gates. That downclimb off Meeker ridge's summit was more intense than anything I've experienced on 14er!
