navigating site, slow server problems?

Post by d_baker »

Is it me or is the site experiencing a slowdown navigating around the site? This has been going on for a while (week+ maybe more?).
Clicking on homepage tabs sometimes doesn't populate the 'Recent Activity' columns, clicking on route pictures sometimes takes a while to come up, etc.
It varies.

Is it a 'me' problem?

I've seen the slow-loading recent activity columns, but everything else has been working normal.

I've seen a bit of that lately and it looks like the datacenter where we're hosted is throttling bandwidth on us. I've seen them do this before, when we get a spike in activity like the start of the summer season. I'll keep an eye on it but
