Bill - I was checking my Pettingel TR from some years back (TR# 11036) and all the pictures are missing. Checking other old reports, it looks like #'s 11079, 11142 and 14554 are missing the pictures also. TR's I wrote before 11036 and after 14554 seem to be OK.
Thanks for all you do for us... --Jay

As if none of us have ever come back with a cool, quasi-epic story instead of being victim to tragic rockfall, a fatal stumble, a heart attack, an embolism, a lightning strike, a bear attack, collapsing cornice, some psycho with an axe, a falling tree, carbon monoxide, even falling asleep at the wheel getting to a mountain. If you can't accept the fact that sometimes "s**t happens", then you live with the illusion that your epic genius and profound wilderness intelligence has put you in total and complete control of yourself, your partners, and the mountain. How mystified you'll be when "s**t happens" to you! - FM

Re: Missing pictures on TR's
Yeah, this happened when images were put in using full urls to the local 14ers.com images, instead of the image numbers, ie ""
So, when I re-structured the image folders as part of the new TR system, it caused those broken links. I still have a "Write TR image hard-codes cleanup pgm" item on my whiteboard but I haven't taken care of it. I'll bump that up. Sorry! Sad!!

Re: Missing pictures on TR's
After doing a quick DB search, there are total of 127 trip reports in the system where the author used hard-coded, local image links.
Jay, you have 4 out there and the images are not lost, just in a different folder.
