Yes. That's exactly what I get.BillMiddlebrook wrote:BTW, for this of you having probs, does Safari open when you attempt the gpx download? Safari is what intercepts the download when I download one. It asks me what app to use from there

Re: iPhone GPX downloading problem
Even without a GPX app installed, I get this:

^Yep, same here. And it doesn't actually give me the option to open it with any of my mapping apps.

Any fee apps you have installed? I could try a couple. I only used GPXViewer and Safari did offer that one up with an Open optionAlexeyD wrote:^Yep, same here. And it doesn't actually give me the option to open it with any of my mapping apps.

Re: iPhone GPX downloading problem
The apps I currently have that can read GPX files are: Gaia, Avenza Maps, and HikingProject (yeah I know it sucks, I mostly just use it for trailhead directions). None of these come up as a list of options that Safari offers to open the file.BillMiddlebrook wrote:Any fee apps you have installed? I could try a couple. Ok, I just installed Gaia and tried to open a 14ers app GPX file and got the following.

Re: iPhone GPX downloading problem
Nope, as soon as I click the "OK" button after the warning pops up, it just immediately opens a Safari browser with a bunch of code on it. I never get the "open with Gaia" option. Sorry, I hadn't actually tried doing it earlier so I was going from memory.

Re: iPhone GPX downloading problem
What does it do if you select the .KmL file in the app, for a route?

Re: iPhone GPX downloading problem
I made a change to the download program used by the app and I'm hoping it will force Safari to play nice.
Could someone who has been seeing the source gpx file instead of the "open" page test it again? Thanks

Re: iPhone GPX downloading problem
Bill,
I just tried opening both the GPX and KML files from the app, and no change from yesterday with either one. It still goes right to a Safari window with XML code, just like Rob said.
I wonder if deleting and re-installing the app would make any difference?
Thanks for working on this!
