Adding an AVATAR (image) next to your forum username

Post by BillMiddlebrook »

To attach an avatar (small picture) to your profile, you can select one of the many 14er avatars provided or upload your own image.

To add/change your avatar:
1) Edit your profile by clicking on "User Control Panel" (gear icon) at the top of the Forum
2) Click the "Profile" link
3) On the left, click the "Edit Avatar" link

Uploading your own avatar:
1) First, read the image upload restrictions under "Current Image"
2) Next to "Upload from your machine," select an image from your computer
3) Click "Submit" to upload the photo and set your avatar.
If you get an error message about the image size, you probably didn't resize it first using image editing softare. This must be done on your computer before trying to upload. Again, check the image size restrictions on the page.

Using an avatar from the Gallery:
1) Click the "Display Gallery" button at the bottom
2) Click the radio button next to your desired image
3) Click "Submit" at the bottom of the page
